SUMMER SKIRT (LONG), 2504 Summer Knits / No. 3b

Work skirt from waist down with 1 strand of MANDARIN PETIT and 1 strand of TYNN LINE.

Cast on sts for waistband. Work double waistband with St-st in rnds and with folding rnd. Inc sts and work skirt in rnds with pattern according to diagram until suitable length. Waist has a negative width for body movement of approx 5 cm. We recommend to meas your own waist, and choose a size approx 5-7 cm smaller than your own personal measurement.

• Knitting Needles: Knitting Needle no. 3, Knitting Needle no. 3½
• Knitting tension: 21 sts = 10 cm, 22 sts = 10 cm
• Accessories: Elastic band, 3 cm wide, in suitable length for waist

Beg to cast on sts for band at upper edge, and work St-st in rnds. Then inc sts and work top with pattern according to diagram until full length. Work straps and sew on to upper edge.
